Terms used in our quotations
Your quote will include VAT where applicable.
For moves to be completed within the UK, VAT will be applied at the standard rate of 20%.
For moves destined to or originating from outside the UK then VAT will not be applied.
Our quotes are based on suitable direct access, allowing for our vehicle to be placed directly outside the main access point with no more than one flight of normal stairs.
Unless otherwise stated full payment is required 7 days prior to the move commencing.
We request as much notice as you are able to provide to allow us to seek to schedule your move for the required date, though it is subject to availability.
Full coverage Marine Transit Insurance is available with rates as per your quotation or on request. An itemised valued transit proposal form will be required to be completed.
Total loss Marine Transit Insurance is available with rates as per your quotation or on request. An itemised valued transit proposal form will be required to be completed.
Your effects will be loaded directly into a standard shipping container.
Your effects will be returned to our depot, crated and co-loaded for shipping.
Your effects will be returned to our depot, cased as required then forwarded for airfreight
Freight charges up till arrival at chosen port of entry. Excludes all and any landing or destination charges
Your effects will be returned to our depot to await consolidation with other shipments of household effects, then co-loaded for shipping.

Fox or our nominated agents will advise you so that you can provide all the necessary documentation prior to shipment arrival at destination port, then submit and receive standard clearance.
Small items will be packed into quality cartons of various sizes and china, glassware, ornaments and other fragile items will be wrapped in white paper, tissue or bubble wrap as necessary. Larger pictures and mirrors will be packed into picture cartons or protected by cardboard sleeves and we will use lay-flat cartons for your hanging garments to avoid creasing.
All furniture and other large items will be wrapped individually using a special bubble blanket or multi-ply paper blanket, tailored to the item being wrapped and taped safely around.
Furniture will be loaded to our vehicle then wrapped for protection in woollen removal transit blankets.
This allows you to pack and prepare your own effects for collection and onward transit. You should ensure that all items are suitably packed with suitable materials which will be checked and verified by the crew who collect the effects.
We can arrange to pack any specific or highlighted items in cardboard or wood cases or crates.
We can arrange for a specialist handyman to:
Dismantle and / or assemble large or complex furniture pieces
Remove and / or replace / install electrical items
Take down / fix curtains and poles
Take down / re-hang pictures and mirrors
We can arrange for a maid or cleaning service for a full house or as per your requirements.
Storage in Transit
Fox or our appointed agent can arrange for your effects to be placed for ‘Storage in Transit’ to await shipping and / or final delivery with rates available on request. If you are placing your effects to storage you may need to extend any insurance policy, again rates available on request.
You can nominate any address to accept delivery though if this is for storage under your own account then our delivery to that location will complete the move services. ques
Our standard storage warehouses are fully secure and containerised storage locations, though are not climate controlled.
If your effects are stored at a Fox or our agents facility then access is possible though subject to suitable notice and payment of an access fee.
We request that you provide your temporary address and contact details. You may provide the final delivery address later to Fox or the nominated destination agent

Glossary of Terms
Terminal Handling Charges – Charges applied at the entry port for handling of your shipment through the port process.
Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier – Charges applied by the nominated freight handlers at the port for process at their warehouse.
