Around 92million people in Brazil describe themselves as white, that’s 43.80% of the population. The main religion here is Catholicism with 64.6% of the population stating that this is their predominant faith in a 2010 census, in fact Brazil has the world’s largest Catholic population.
The official language in Brazil is Portuguese as nearly all of the population speaks it and it is the only language used in most newspapers and on television and for business purposes.
