Moving to New Zealand from the UK?
Most of us have to move at some point in our lives, and whether we want to or not, moving house can be an incredibly stressful experience. And if that house happens to be at the other end of the world, then you’re going to need the very best help you can get!
With Fox Moving & Storage, you’ve found it. We possess many years’ experience in international removals, and we’re absolutely committed to making your move to New Zealand as enjoyable and stress-free as possible.
With Fox Moving & Storage, you’ve found it. We possess many years’ experience in overseas removals, and we’re absolutely committed to making your move to New Zealand as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. Our job is to handle the move with the smallest amount of fuss, so that you can get settled into your new home quickly, without having to worry about when (or if) your belongings will arrive!
To make sure this happens, we’ll allocate a member of our team to visit your home in the UK, and find out everything there is to know about your requirements. This will enable us to take complete control of the removal process, so that you don’t have to worry about anything.
During this visit, we’ll discuss exactly what items you want to take to New Zealand, as well as anything you wish to store. This will enable us to provide a competitive quote based on the volume of goods being transported, and we’ll also inform you of any special packing requirements you might need.
Once we have all the information about what you’re taking with you, all you need to do is tell us when you want to leave, and where in New Zealand you want to go, and we’ll take care of the rest!
If you’re sending a larger consignment to New Zealand, we will provide you with a Full Container Load (FCL) service, which will allow you to transport the entire contents of your home. If you’re looking to send a smaller shipment, then we can provide a more cost-effective option in the form of our regular “Groupage” services, which we operate from the UK to both the North and South Island.
Although we use all of the main ports, our Groupage services generally enter via Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch, where our selected agent will arrange delivery to your new home, wherever it may be on either island.
Alternatively, if you’re transporting smaller consignments still, or certain belongings need to arrive quickly, then our airfreight service may be just the ticket.
Whichever option you choose, our agent will be able to help you with advice and guidance regarding the customs clearance process in New Zealand, and will offer assistance with any paperwork, prior to arranging delivery of the consignment to your new home. For advice and guidance on customs regulations, please visit the customs information section.
Once your consignment has been safely delivered, we will also provide you with a full unpacking service, and place your items in their chosen rooms, as per your instruction.
Finally, if you need to store any of your belongings either in the UK or once you’ve arrived in New Zealand, we can help. Contact us for more information.
